CENTRAAL LAAT ‣ La Cassette x De gezonde stad

Deze editie van Centraal Laat draait om de tentoonstelling De gezonde stad. Het programma wordt verzorgd door La Cassette, die de rafelrandjes van het gezonde en ongezonde leven verkennen met goed gezelschap, lekker eten en drinken en de echte La Cassette sound. Het binnenprogramma duurt tot 21.00 uur, maar daarna kun je nog tot 23.00 genieten van optredens en activiteiten in de museumtuin. Pizza's worden gebakken door PunkPizza.

De eerste 100 bezoekers ontvangen een unieke Centraal Laat x La Cassette tote bag. Reserveer vooraf een (gratis) ticket via de website, want vol is vol.

CENTRAAL LAAT ‣ La Cassette x The Healthy City

This edition of Centraal Laat revolves around the exhibition The Healthy City. The program is provided by La Cassette, who explore the fringes of healthy and unhealthy living with good company, good food and drink and the real La Cassette sound. The indoor program lasts until 9 p.m., but after that you can enjoy performances and activities in the museum garden until 11 p.m. Pizzas are baked by PunkPizza.

The first 100 visitors will receive a unique Centraal Laat x La Cassette tote bag. Book your (free) ticket in advance via the website.

Bringing our streetlight everywhere and shining the light upon all the unseen talent who are operating in the dark.

La Cassette creates a place for the community of DJs, artists, photographers and video makers who use hip-hop and the night as a source of inspiration. We mainly operate at night, both online and offline. In the dark talent develops, friendships blossom and culture is born.

On Thursday the 12th of May we'll host the fourth edition of La Cassette Gaat Movie. A movie night curated by young talented movie directors, D.O.P's, editors, actors and other creatives in the film industry.

Every edition we'll invite a guest to curate a movie that inspires them in their work as a filmmaker. Also, we'll start an open conversation about their ambitions, inspirations, creative process and projects. In a Q&A you get the chance to ask anything you ever wanted to know about filmmaking.

This time we've invited the Camille Boumans @camilleboumans. Camille is a Dutch filmmaker who expresses herself in various mediums such as editing and directing. In her work, she combines modern aesthetics and intimate cinematography. She collaborates with brands of any size that have passion and purpose.

This time we've invited the Amsterdam-based director/host Malika Helena de Rijke (@malikahelenaderijke). You might know her work of 101Barz, directing docu’s like ‘Groei’ about the Rotterdam-based rapper U-niq (@uniq4real) or ‘Zonder Moeder, Zonder Vader’ of the rapper Knaller (@kknaller). Beside directing, Malika is well know of her own show called C.R.E.A.M. live every month on Echobox Radio (@echoboxradio). Interviewing people like: Shahine El Hamus, Dieuwertje Heuvelings, Rotjoch and Fadua El Akchaoui.

If you do not feel safe at our event, you can contact one of the La Cassette points of contact. They can be recognized by the luminous red bracelet and will help you immediately. If you cannot find one of our points of contact, the bar staff is always willing to help you.

La Cassette verbied elke vorm van discriminatie, sexism, homofobia, trans-fobia, of andere haat dragende uitingen zowel verbaal als fysiek. Als jij je niet veilig voelt op ons event kun je terecht bij een van de La Cassette aanspreekpunten. Zij zijn te herkennen aan een rode lamp om hun arm en zullen je direct helpen. Mocht je een van onze aanspreekpunten niet kunnen vinden is het bar personeel ook altijd bereid om jou te helpen.

We're proud to announce that Veras Fawas will be our very first guest. As an autonomous writer, editor, musician and filmmaker he made video clips for artists like Faberyayo, Yung Nnelg, Goldband and Teske. We're looking forward to talk some movie stuff, projects and bullshit with him.
